Introduction: In this blog, I will be discussing the approach of handling the Business Central downtime from an End User's perspective. I will be addressing how to debug and understand what could be a possible source of error which is could be causing the downtime of Business Central Production & Sandbox. Business Central not accessible Pre- requisites : 1. Microsoft Dynamics Business Central 2. Access to Business Central Admin Center 3. Access to Office 365 Admin Procedure: 1. Check if you have a license assigned to your user : If you get the licensing error like the below, you need to confirm if you're getting logged in with the correct user and your license is correct. Missing License or Invalid User You can go to home.dynamics.com to verify the user logged in. Microsoft will be updating the Release Plan, Licensing Guide, and CSP Pricelist by 7th September 2020. These Production Environments can be purchased through CSP separately. Along with these Production Environments how many Sandbox environments will be available is NOT YET FIXED. Tentatively this ratio is for every 1 Production there will be 3 Sandboxes available. Also, as per my understanding, the Database Space(80 GB) is allocated separately for Production and Sandbox.   Introduction: Ever felt a need to expose Dimensions on G/L Entries? Wouldn't it be simple to check-in G/L Entries or perform a Pivot in Excel directly? Well, that is exactly what I'm planning for. Use Case: Add the 2 Global Dimension  & 6 Shortcut Dimension to G/L Entries Table in Business Central. These fields should be downloadable in Edit in Excel.
